Description:
This training is required for custodial and maintenance staff working in a school building with asbestos-containing materials or assumed to contain asbestos. This course satisfied the mandatory OSHA asbestos regulations adopted by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Topics covered during the training include:
- History and identification of asbestos
- Cleaning procedures
- Federal and state regulations
- Personal protective equipment use
- How to handle asbestos-containing materials for occupant safety
Cost:
This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts with an active EHS platinum or gold service contract.
The cost for all other participants is $99/person.
