Description:
This course equips custodial, maintenance, and facilities staff with the knowledge to recognize and manage potential lead hazards in school buildings. Participants will learn about common sources of lead, associated health risks, and the importance of safe work practices. The training also reviews OSHA and EPA requirements and outlines steps to prevent exposure during cleaning, maintenance, or renovation activities. By the end of the session, staff will be able to identify lead hazards, understand health impacts, and apply safe practices to protect students, staff, and themselves.
Cost:
This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts with an active EHS platinum or gold service contract.
The cost for all other participants is $25/person.
