Audience:
This professional development series is intended for instructional teams, including educators new to aimswebPlus, special education teachers, reading interventionists, district reading specialists, and principals. It is also appropriate for any staff seeking to enhance consistency in aimswebPlus assessment administration. The primary focus is on literacy assessment for 4K thorugh 3rd grade, with supplementary literacy content provided for upper grade levels. Title I, II, and IV funds are eligible to use for this professional development series.
Description:
AimswebPlus is a tool for teachers and educational teams that offer nationally-normed, skills-based benchmark assessments and progress monitoring integrated into one application across reading domains. This training equips new users with how to navigate the platform, an understanding of the literacy assessments available, how to administer literacy assessments, how to set up progress monitoring, and also use basic reports.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will learn how to use the aimswebPlus platform efficiently.
- Participants will be prepared to support evidence-based and science-based literacy instruction.
This workshop is offered to those districts participating in CESA 10’s School Improvement Consortium (LS1a) Services at $300/person including: Abbotsford, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eau Claire, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.
The cost for all other participants is $450/person.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the event to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows will be charged the full registration fee. Substitutions are welcome.
CESA 10 may cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. If the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District closes for weather, CESA 10 events are also canceled and will be rescheduled if possible. Notices are sent via email through Neon One–please ensure your contact information is up to date and emails aren’t going to spam.
