Description:
This network will bring math educators and leaders from across the CESA 10 region together to collaborate on the teaching and learning of mathematics in our classrooms. Some of our learning will be around the book, 5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Math Discussions, by Margaret S. Smith and Mary Kay Stein. Time will be devoted during each session to network and collaborate with other math educators.
Learning Outcomes:
- Collaborate with other math educators and leaders around practices in mathematics instruction.
- Engaging in the study of how to create equitable learning environments that support the mathematics learning of all students.
- Stay current with local, state and national mathematics news and updates.
This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts participating in CESA 10’s School Improvement Consortium (LS1a) Services including: Abbotsford, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eau Claire, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.
