Local Educational Agency Representative Training
Description
This training is for anyone asked to be a Local Educational Agency (LEA) representative for Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Meetings. Participants will learn about the 5-Step CCR IEP process, including the role of the LEA in developing an IEP. The role both within an IEP meeting and beyond the IEP Meeting will be covered. This session will focus on the development of a reasonably calculated plan for a student that allows the child to make progress with their education. Emphasis will be given to minimizing risk for the district, best practices for LEAs, and the provision of resources.

Cost: $50 to CESA 10 Special Education Pupil Services Professional Development (SE2e PD) member districts; $75 to non-member districts; $25 for practicum students (non-licensed)
