Initial Asbestos O&M Training

This training is designed for people who encounter and/or disturb asbestos while conducting maintenance-related activities during the course of their work.

This two-day course satisfies the training requirements for people conducting Class III activities per OSHA requirements. Topics include:

• Background and History.
• Health Hazards.
• Medical Surveillance.
• Personal Protective Equipment.
• Operation and Maintenance Plans.
• Asbestos-Related Work Practices.
• Decontaminating Procedures.
• Record Keeping.
• Designated Person Responsibilities.
