Asbestos Awareness Training

This training is required for custodial and maintenance staff working in a school building with asbestos-containing materials or assumed to contain asbestos. This course satisfies the mandatory OSHA asbestos regulations adopted by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.

Topics covered during the training include:

• History and identification of asbestos.
• Cleaning procedures.
• Federal and state regulations.
• Personal protective equipment use.
• How to handle asbestos-containing materials for occupant safety.

A computer, camera & microphone will be necessary to participate in this event.
