Audience:
This professional development training is intended for instructional teams, including educators new to aimswebPlus, special education teachers, interventionists, and principals. It is also appropriate for any staff seeking to enhance consistency in aimswebPlus assessment administration. The primary focus is on mathematics assessment for grades 4K through 8. Title I, II, and IV funds are eligible to use for this professional development training.
Description:
AimswebPlus is a tool for teachers and educational teams that offers nationally-normed, skills-based benchmark assessments and progress monitoring integrated into one application for mathematics. This training equips users with how to navigate the platform, an understanding of the mathematics assessments available, and standardized administration. The basics of progress monitoring and high-leverage reports will also be included.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to successfully navigate the aimswebPlus platform.
- Participants will understand the what, why, and how of the mathematics assessments offered through aimswebPlus.
- Participants will learn how to set up progress monitoring in an efficient way and utilize basic reports.
This workshop is offered at $200/person to those districts participating in CESA 10’s School Improvement Consortium (LS1a) Services including: Abbotsford, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eau Claire, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Loyal, Mondovi, Owen-Withee, and Spencer.
The cost for all other participants is $300/person.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the event to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows will be charged the full registration fee. Substitutions are welcome.
CESA 10 may cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. If the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District closes for weather, CESA 10 events are also canceled and will be rescheduled if possible. Notices are sent via email through Neon One–please ensure your contact information is up to date and emails aren’t going to spam.
